Special Visitor!!

Drew had some excitement at his football game a couple of weeks ago. He's been playing the center position on his JV football team and one of the coaches wanted him to work on his technique. He's worked and worked and just couldn't get it the way the coach wanted it.

One of the missionaries assigned to our ward told Gary to call Cory Proctor (#71) from the Dallas Cowboys. He said tell him I gave you his number and he'll come help him! So! Gary did.

Cory came up to Denton and watched Drew as his team played a very good game against Wichita Falls Ryder High School winnig the game 48 - 0. He was complementary and told Drew's coach that his technique was good but that he would work with him in the "off-season." He also said he would teach Drew to deep snap!!

Drew was very excited as was the entire Ryan team. Cory is a great guy! He gave Drew an autographed picture of him snapping to Tony Romo! Wow!! What a night!!

Gary's Got a New Job!

Gary left Denton Rehab and Nursing Center and started a new job as the Rehab Director at Select Medical Speciality Rabilitation Hospital of Denton. He grins like a kid with a candy jar. It's a brand new beautiful facility across the street from Presbyterian Hospital. They will special in neurological disorders. It's own by the Kinsler Institute which is the same company that treated "Superman" Christopher Reeve. It's the first building completed at the Rayzor Ranch property. He's ordering treatment supplies and getting to know his team.

It will be a good challenge for him and he's up to it!!

And the Raiders Roll on...

The Denton Ryan Raiders Junior Varsity team continued their unbeaten streak of wins by soundly beating McKinney High School "Lions" JV by a score of 35-7. Astute work by Ryan Center, Drew Ferguson, continues to help keep the Raiders rolling on track. That's 5 "W's" in the win column if you are counting!

A well deserved rest will come to the Raiders as they have an off week.

Ready to Move!

Remember today is Sept. 11, 7 years ago. It seems like just yesterday! The heros are still the everyday hero's.
Dad is our hero! He always serves with out a second thought. He has now accepted a new job! We are very proud of you! Thank you for all the hard work you have done for us the kids :)
WE LOVE DADDY!

Another reason for post is we are definetly ready to move! There was a confusion, they thought we moved out, but not given them the keys. So I was feeding emily a bottle watching Oprah yesterday and someone unlocked the door and had their luggage to move in. We called aboda and they really thought we have moved. I don't know why. This is the second time someone has just walked in with a key. On saturday someone walked in and we were still in our jammies. YIKES. Anyways we are to be out on the 15. So pray that the papers come in today! That means we can move in on MON.
Lov you all.

Raider's Continue to Roll

The Ryan Raiders continued their season with a 24-6 over Richardson Pearce HS last Thursday night. The JV was lead by their great center, Drew Ferguson! They are now 4-0 on the season.

It's gotten quiet!!

Garrett is off to Texas Tech in Lubbock, and seems to be doing well. He is enjoying his new roommates and living in a real house, not an apartment! He's glad that the temple is close by.

Allyse started school at BYUI yesterday. She seemed to be happy with her classes and new roommate.

I'm hoping they will log in and complete this themselves, so we all know what's going on!!

Ryan Raiders Crush Mesquite Poteet

The Ryan Raiders crushed the Mesquite Poteet Pirates Thursday night during the football game. The offensive line, starring Drew Ferguson, Center # 66, did wonders with his brilliant snaps so the Ryan offense could score 33 points for the game. Ryan had the ball for over a minute and we scored the first touch down of the game. The Raiders continued their spiral toward victory as they reached a harrowing score of 33 when the opposing team had only a score of 7 after a mistake made by the Raiders. Overall, the game was a victory for the Raiders and they start the season with a great repertoire.

Who Doesn't Love Ice Cream?

Every one loves Ice Cream.....especially when it involves buying it for family!!
I have been dating Stetson Wellborn for several months now and well...I owe my family ice cream!!
I went over to Cassie's Apt. last night after dinner to watch the 3rd Work and the Glory movie. After the movie he kissed me on the cheek (the warm up) and then he just took my chin in his hands and we leaned in....
The second time that night was when we were dancing to the Lifehouse Soundtrack and were slow dancing and he stopped and looked down. I looked up and he again leaned in...
Both of them were very sweet and I no longer have Virgin Lips. Yes, he was my first kiss.
